AFGE Firefighter Manuals
The 3 Volume Set of the AFGE Federal Firefighters Reference Manuals are still available from the AFGE General Councils Office at a cost of $25.00 per set.. These manuals where completed by former AFGE Assistant General Council Sandra Adams-Choate and contain a wealth of information pertaining to the Federal Fire Service. Volumes 1 & 2 contain references and explanations of the laws and regulations that affect the Federal Fire Service and Volume 3 contains Case Law. Even thought these books where last published in 2002, they still contain current information and are an excellent source of reference information. For your use, a more current copy of Volume II is provided here. Please note that although this version of Volume II contains updates as of October 2007, you should always check for the most current version of any code or regulation.
